Keep Calm.. its Date Time in Fayetteville

Let's be honest, when is the last time you treated yourself to a date night? Really though... when is the last time you went on a day date?! With the craziness of work, children and in this town... military life, enjoying time together sometimes sits on the back burner! Don't worry we got you covered!

Cape Fear River Trail

This trail is a serious hidden gem, 5.5 miles of pure bliss. Its a paved trail with bathrooms, water stations and shade throughout the whole thing.

Not to mention the scenery is stunning. 1 mile in you hit a bridge with a lake, at around 3 miles you hit a waterfall. I am telling you... amazing. So grab the pups or your hubby's hand and enjoy! Don't forget you have to turn around and come back!

Bowling

Bowling is a funny thing. I personally contribute the majority of my success to luck but hey I will take it! This is such an inexpensive way to have some fun and beat the heat! Plus...many of the local bowling ally's have specials running everyday of the week! Time to throw on those stylish shoes and have some fun.

B&B Lanes- This place has $1.59 games on Tuesdays and $8.88 all you can bowl on Thursday!

Also if you live on Fort Bragg or plan on living on Fort Bragg don't miss out on Dollar Days!

Roller Blading

Honestly, this is my favorite. Who wouldn't want an opportunity to stroll hand in hand with their hubby to a 90's throwback song?

Round-A-Bout
Hours can be a little tricky at these places so make sure you check ahead of time but they run some awesome specials.

Ice Skating

This is for those of you who live on Fort Bragg. Here is your chance to pretend to be a member of the USA hockey team or a figure skating ice princess! You are warned... be careful. Ice Hurts!

Cleland Ice & Inline Skating Rinks- This is a rink on post!

Disc Golf

For those of you who don't know... Disc golf is an absolute blast! This is an awesome way to get moving (walking the course) and have some fun.

Although you have to bring your own discs, (they are not super expensive here is some at Academy Sports, you can also search the apps "Offer Up" and "VarageSale") once you have them you can start the fun.

I have played at Arnette Park

TREAT YOUR SELF!!! With all the craziness of life... make sure you are taking time to enjoy yourself. Fayetteville can be overwhelming at first, (Seems like a ton of fast food and tailors) but there are so many hidden gems!
