Most of us have shopped online for a new home, rental or even hotel. Often times the first 3 images can be a deciding factor if we continue to explore that property or move onto the next.

Here are 5 tips that will help ensure you have the best possible photos:

1. Clean- Make sure your house is clean before you shoot pictures. Dirty dishes and laundry can often be distracting.

2. Stage your Home- Make sure your home is free of personal items and family pictures. A potential buyer needs to be able to picture themselves living there.

3. Use as mush natural lighting as possible- Open the curtains and turn on the lights! This will make your home look bright and open.

4. Take a ton of pictures- This way you have a large number to choose from when marketing.

5. Consider a using a professional-  You would be surprised at the difference a nice camera and some slight editing can make. Remember... photos are often the deciding factor on if someone considers buying your home!
