Seriously though... the internet, crazy stuff right there! Think about it your phone can literally venture into space and find any piece of information you need. Well... I don't really know if it literally goes to space but you get the point.
The world we live in today is a digital one, and searching for a home or agent is no different. In this small series I will provide some tips for using the internet to not only help you find your next home but also your next realtor. There is an overload of information and many different avenues but how do you know what is credible?
Each week I will post a short tip on how you can use social media and simple searches to ensure your home buying or selling process is smooth sailing.
Tip 1: Researching your Agent
The first thing I do when deciding on an agent or a company I choose to work with is google them.- What kind of social media do they have?
- Is there a positive representation of them on their sites?
- Do they market on social media?
- Do they have a website?
- What kind of content is on this website?
- Do they have any reviews on Zillow, Trulia or realtor.com?
- Does their company have a website?
- Do they have accurate information on websites for potential buyers of your home to reach them?
Keep in mind that there is a method to the madness when it comes to marketing, so if you are confused about a type of marketing an agent does... ask them about it!
